Dover Sept. 29, 2012 AM Update

September 29, 2012

It is the calm before the storm here at the Monster Mile this morning. The track is quiet, but Miles is waiting for the cars to fire up and start qualifying. First up will the Nationwide series teams, who will be qualifying for today’s main event, the One Main Financial 200 starting at 3:30 EST. Several drivers will be doing double duty this weekend, including Sam Hornish Jr., Joey Lagano, Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, TJ Bell, Danica Patrick, JJ Yeley, Kasey Kahne and Cole Whitt. After these drivers get done qualifying their Nationwide entries, they will jump into their Sprint Cup entry and do it all again. Once the dust settles and the Pole Winners announced, it will be time to go racing here on the concrete at Dover. The Nationwide series teams will fire up their engines and battle it out for 200 laps to see who will tame the Monster today.
